AUR 16th March: Taking the Amity Industrial Interaction Series a step further, ASCo Dept. of AUR organized a very knowledge enriching Guest Lecture on the 16th March in its own Amity Campus. The lecture was delivered by Mr. Harish Chandra, a very renowned and experienced person in the field of Journalism and at present the Editor of Dainik Bhaskar. Mr. Chandra is having more than 15 yrs of working experience in the field of Crime Reporting and has been instrumental behind solving many high profile crime cases, thus bagging quite a good number of titles in his name.
His lecture unveiled many key essential areas of Crime Reporting, which enormously guided the students about the various skills which need to be possessed to create a mark in this field. His practical tips like developing “Curiosity” to get into the root of every crime story, making new “Contacts” each new day and his description on the different “Sources of News”, proved to be extremely useful in expanding the student’s practical know-how about this field.
Thus, we can rightly say that the lecture strengthened the determination of those who have opted this field of reporting as their career and at the same time motivated many others to pursue it as their career.
