The camp was inaugurated by Prof. (Dr.)Raj Singh, Hon'ble Vice-Chancellor AUR. In his words, “I donated blood for the first time and it feels really great! I would like to urge the youth as well to come forward for this cause".About the club, Inner Wheel Club (main) has been an active participant in various efforts like the upliftment of the underprivileged, women empowerment, water supply in rural areas, family welfare plans etc not only in Jaipur, but even in areas of Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh. Tanuja Agarwal, president, IWC said, “The youth should come forward to be a part of such social activities as they are not only the healthiest population but also the future of any nation”. She further added,” All the social services one can think of, donating blood is the greatest social activity”.
There was a large turn up for the donation, and some were indeed sad when they couldn't donate due to some medical reasons. Nevertheless, this is what the proud donors had to say about the donation and the camp:"I'm donating Blood for the 1st time in my life. Feeling very proud that I am helping someone through this great program", Rohan Singh, Faculty ASCO
"Apart from teaching, the curriculum, it is very important for the faculty to inculcate such qualities and emotions in students that will connect them with the students. The moment you donate blood, you suddenly feel connected to the masses at large. I' feel great that I could be a part of this endeavour" Rakesh Premi, Program Co-ordinater, ABS."This has definately been the best thing of my life! Feels great that I did something for others!" While personally publicizing AYAM’10 at various other colleges in and around Jaipur, the ‘Director-Student’s Welfare’ of one such college asked me to describe AYAM’10 in few words. I promptly replied by saying-“It is just Amity’s yet another miracle.”
Miracles do happen. Especially at
Be it the insane quizzing in InCanity, or the witty marketing in BioBazaar, or rather watching Entrepreneurs in the making, or the creative outflow in painting or salad presentation, each event managed to bring out talents hidden in everyone, including some couch potatoes (I personally know one such case, in which the student did nothing else except studying the whole year round, and found fests a pathetic waste of time, until she won the first prize in a creative presentation event!).
Mesmerizing evenings only added more sheen, and brought even more talents out in the open. From the melodious voices heard in Sur Saptak, to the in-sync grooves seen in Beat‘d’ Beats, to the creativity endorsed fashion taken up in Glam ‘n’ Glitz, entertainment never seemed to take a backseat in AYAM evenings, especially with delicious food being served by side in the stalls!
Sending people into euphoria was the news of EUPHORIA coming to perform live for
The point is that students fell short of energy, cheering and dancing, but EUPHORIA didn’t fall short of energy, performing. The ambience was so electrified and filled with energy, that the crowd couldn’t help, but “LOOSE CONTROL”! Palash Sen and his troop started performing for us roughly around 7 of April 2nd, and once they started, neither could the crowd have enough of them, neither could they of the crowd.
The rest, they say, is history!
As an amitian, I wouldn’t say AYAM’10 was perfect, but trust me, nothing short of it rather. Some events, happening for the first/second time did have some flaws, some shortcomings, but as they say, “Shortcomings are the stepping stones to success!”
Some said the management needed a management, and we would end up agreeing with that. Yes, it did.
Some said the abrupt changes in the schedule, needed a schedule. Probably, it did. But the fact remains, and you’ll also would agree on this with me, that management only becomes better with more hands to manage. I agree constructive criticism is a good way to improve things, but only when there are more people listening to them, than the ones giving them.
Concluding with an optimistic note, AYAM’11 hopes to fulfil the constructive feedbacks from faculties and students, and promises to bounce back with a bang the next year it comes around. And now I am waiting for the Sanchaar’10, which will really be a rocking event….

Super exhilarating, super delightful & super vigorous was the Amity’s showpiece “AYAM” this time. Boy, I tell you it was entrancing and filled with liveliness. The two-day techno-management-cultural fest was truly remarkable. Kicked off with the grand inaugural function at 10am on 1st April folded itself with the rocking night with Euphoria on day two i.e. 2nd April.
More than 2000 fans headed to Ravindra Manch, Jaipur showground’s today, in order to catch the hottest names in music, Euphoria – and bringing the 2010 leg of the to a triumphant close.
The two-day festival at Amity had a series of interesting events like dance, fashion show, treasure hunt, robotics league, director’s cut, singing and much more… It was all students’ cultivation of innovative ideas, which they planted in AYAM’10.
This festival is the only entity which will involves organized and un-organized,. Every one.
The Amity’s Street was once again turned into an art street on all the two days with college students lining up the street with their special artwork.
Amity is really, “A world that truly embraces diversity is one where the rights, dignity, and well-being of individuals are realized regardless of differences in race, faith, gender – or ability.
“This has been a truly remarkable year for Sundance in ways even we did not fully predict.
“The crowd has been well behaved. Thanks to the weather being kind to us, the number of people needing assistance was down on last year.” Thanks to all who made it a majestic one. None of these shows could be possible, of course, without the support and encouragement of the audience. Organisers would like to express their thanks to everyone who watched, listened, danced, and laughed during the fest.
Now ASCo students looking forward to make SANCHAAR a big hit … Cheers habbiee…
Message from the Hon’ble Chancellor
Today, we are celebrating the inaugural function of Sangathan which has animportant place in our annual calendar. Sangathan which is a celebration of Amity students from across all campuses, provides a forum for interaction, caring and sharing and togetherness for all Amitians. It is a time when we all come together year upon year and we can measure the growth of Amity by the size of the event which increases annually. With so many students participating from every corner of the nation and many foreign countries Sangathan is a good example of how Amity represents unity in diversity.
Mr. Aseem Chauhan
Chancellor
