Amity University Rajasthan organizes French Dictation Competition

February 15th 2011. Amity school of Languages - AUR organized the prize distribution function for students who excelled in French Dictation competition held on January 21st 2011. Guests present at the occasion were Dr. Asha Pande, University of Rajasthan and Dr. Abhijit Karkun, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi.

Students performed various songs and plays in French language during the event. Dr. Asha Pandey appreciated the interest and efforts of students in the language and expressed her happiness about the pronunciation and presentation skills of AUR students. She invited AUR students to participate in the Indo-French Exchange programme at Rajasthan University.

Dr. Abhijit Karkun applauded AUR for the excellent opportunity provided to students to learn foreign languages. He motivated students to learn foreign languages as it can be a key to success in the era of globalization.

Prof. Raj Singh Vice- Chancellor AUR emphasized that learning foreign language provides much needed inter-disciplinary orientation to students.
