For The Love of Mother

Mother’s pale fingers
Touch my forehead and softly say,
“Awake, the day’s ahead!”
First pampering, then tempering
Her glittering eyes cast a magical spell
Her elegant look cast up a tell
Like the rays of the morning sun
Showering around with great fun
As mesmerising as a red rose
Spreading happiness
Wherever she goes
Every word a jewel in a treasure
With a deep love
Needs no words to measure
Morning till
Evening I behold her
How my heart yearns
For her affection!
All I want to say
A debt of gratitude never
My soul can repay
Thy love beyond bounds
Like streams of water
Cascading down till eternity
