‘Nanotechnology will make man immortal by 2029’ Specialized lecture on Nanotechnology in Amity

“Nanotechnology will make man immortal by 2029, the knowledge of nanotechnology is to be generated in 21st century. Its wide range of applications in areas such as medical, environment, pharmacy, textile, food etc. Makes it the technology of next generation.” These were the thoughts expressed by Prof.R.P.Singh, Director, Amity institute of Nanotechnology and vice chairman, Amity Science and Technology Innovation Foundation Amity University, NOIDA(U.P.). He was addressing the budding biotechnologist at Amity University Rajasthan.
Speaking on the future perspectives of nanotechnology, Prof. Singh said, “this technology is very relevant in present scenario to live a quality life. Fields are opening up with new opportunities and there is a great demand of nanotech professionals”. He interacted with the students and guided them about the future perspective and career options in the field of nanotechnology in India and abroad.
The lecture was attended by the students of Amity Institute of Biotechnology.Prior to this welcome note was delivered by Brig.(retd.) V.K.Pandey, Registrar, Amity University Rajasthan. Vote of thanks was proposed by Dr. G. K. Aseri, Dy. Direc tor- Amity School of Biotechnology and token of remembrance was presented by Prof. Om Vir Singh, Director Amity School of Engineering. Lecture was also attended by Dr. Manish Verma, Dy. Director ASCo, Brig. V.K.Pande and Brig. G.S. Rathore, Director Administration, faculty members of Amity School of Biotechnology.
