AUR:2/11/2011: Under the aegis of Amity University Rajasthan, Amity School of Engineering and Technology organized Scinnovation 2011 encouraging students to present their scientific ideas with innovation. Prof Dr. Raj Singh - Vice Chancellor, Amity University Rajasthan was the chief guest for the event. Scinnovation is a platform providing an opportunity to students to showcase their talent and creativity in the field of science and technology with a touch of innovation where students presented and exhibited their Robot projects. This is an annual event organized to motivate and encourage and also to get recognition for the unique technological work done by the students. Around 15 teams participated in the event. The event included presentation made by the students on their projects explaining the objective and techniques used to prepare Robots. Following this there was the Poster Presentation competition wherein students presented their views on various technical topics through beautifully crafted posters. Then was the most awaited contest - the ferocious Lord of the Rings (the robot-war) where the battle was between the best robots prepared by different teams. After that was the Working Model event where the contenders showcased their technical talents through their working models based on their genuine innovative ideas.
