Sangathan , day 2 , started rather gloomily, with the rain indefinitely postponing most of the matches. But finally battling the rain , the day started its first event with a Kabbaddi match between MBA and B.tech EC. Following this there was boys long jump , in which Radheshayam ( MIT) stood victorious, closely followed by Parul Yadav (CSE) and Ravi Jaiswal , in the second and third positions respectively. After this , the Girls Shot Put match was conducted in which Preethi(EC) , Prerna Bannerji (EC) and Sarika(IT) secured the first , second and third positions repectively. After this , the girl’s Discuss throw match was conducted. The winners of this event were Preeti (ECE) on the first position , followed by Urvashi and Swati ( Cs) on the 2nd and 3rd positions respectively. The boys Discuss match brought triumph to Hitesh (ABS), Vikas (bio tech) and Parvesh Rana ( EC). Various other matches took place within the campus. In this , there was the Girl’s T.T. ( singles) in which Shrishti Kumar (ROA) secured the first position. Ritu Dahiya and Neha Sharma won the Girl’s T.T. doubles. In the Boy’s Singles T.T. match , Prabhat Vyas secured the first position with flying colours. Besides this, Chandni Chaudhary came first in the Girl’s Chess Match. The badminton girls matches were held in the evening, Nidhi (ROA) stood victorious while Nancy Mandla bagged the silver. In the doubles match too ROA took the gold while ECE won the silver medal. With that day 2 of sangathan came to an end. The day remained cloudy and windy , but yet productive and was successful in bringing out the best talents of AUR.
