Deligates from US Embassy visits AUR

Amity, 13th September: A team of two people from U.S.A. embassy comprising Mr. Michael Mecy, counselor for cultural affairs at the U.S. mission in New Delhi and Mrs. Mandeep Kaur, all India principal programme advisor public affair section American embassy visited Amity University Rajasthan. The purpose was to perk up the relation of AUR with embassy for their student exchange program.
The team was welcomed by Brig. G.S.Rathore, director of administration, AUR. Visit commenced with the light informal session with Prof. Raj Singh, Vice chancellor of AUR. After a little discussion they proceeded towards auditorium, where they met students of Amity Business School (ABS). Mr. Mecy lectured the students on the role of leadership in management and shared numerous experience of him regarding the topic.
According To him” leaders are not born but primed, we just need to ponder upon our capabilities and our will to achieve something.” although management is a wide term but yet he said” managers are the key spice of this term, managers do things correctly but leaders do correct things.” After his lecture he invited the students to come up with their queries and while answering one of the question regarding success and prosperity he said
That both the terms are somehow diverse with each other as success sometimes can risk our life and prosperity deals with both knowledge and wealth, significant is what motivates us to work hard.
During his session few students were awarded with t-shirts and other articles for their questions by Mrs. Kaur. After this interactive sitting vote of thanks and mementos were given by hon’ble vice chancellor of AUR.
